About Abdul

If you study with me, expect lessons that are structured but never rigid. We'll identify the specific concepts that are holding you back, and we'll work through them methodically until they stop being a problem—not just patched over for the next test, but genuinely understood. That's the difference between a grade that holds up under exam pressure and one that doesn't. I bring the same discipline to teaching that I bring to the pool, the chessboard, and the soccer or badminton court: show up consistently, focus on fundamentals, and improvement follows. Students who've worked with me know that I push, but I also listen—math anxiety is real, and half my job is making sure it doesn't get in the way of the other half.

About the lesson

Credentials matter, but results matter more. My students have earned distinctions in both IGCSE and A Level mathematics examinations, and that track record wasn't built on one lucky cohort—it's the product of a consistent method applied year after year. Teaching both Cambridge and American Curriculum students has sharpened my ability to diagnose exactly where a student's understanding breaks down, whether that's a shaky grasp of algebraic manipulation, a gap in trigonometric reasoning, or simply exam technique that hasn't caught up to their actual ability. I don't teach to a generic syllabus outline; I teach the student in front of me, using the curriculum as the map rather than the destination.
