About Lauren
I am a South African working in the UK. I am enjoying getting to know this amazing country. I love nature and being outside as well as reading, playing the piano and chess. I believe that Maths is one of the most important and beautiful subjects and with the right approach could be accessible to everyone.

I completed my teaching degree at the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa. I taught Mathematics and Natural Science at a Primary School in South Africa for a year and I am currently teaching Mathematics at a prestigious secondary school in Northampton.
I believe that Maths is beautiful and found all around us in our everyday lives. I enjoy helping students discover this beauty for themselves. I believe that everyone is capable of learning and improving their mathematical skills. Different people learn in different ways and I use a variety of strategies to ensure that every learner will be able to gain knowledge in a way that is accessible to them.
