My teaching approach focuses on making lessons simple, clear, and easy to understand. I believe that every student learns at a different pace, so I adjust my teaching methods according to their needs, learning styles, and current level of understanding. I explain concepts step by step, starting with the basics before moving on to more challenging topics.
For mathematics, I use worked examples, guided practice, and practical exercises to help students understand how and when to apply different formulas and methods. I also encourage students to ask questions and explain their reasoning so I can identify areas where they need more support. Rather than simply giving answers, I guide them toward solving problems independently and building confidence in their abilities.
Each lesson begins with a brief review of the topic and an assessment of the student's current understanding. I then explain the main concepts using simple language and demonstrate how to solve sample problems step by step. Afterward, we work through practice exercises together before allowing the student to try similar problems independently.
At the end of the session, we review the key concepts, address any remaining difficulties, and identify topics that may need further practice. I can also help students prepare for quizzes and examinations, complete assignments, and review lessons discussed in class.
What sets me apart is my patience, willingness to explain concepts in different ways, and understanding that learning can be challenging. I know that students sometimes struggle because they have not fully understood the fundamentals, so I make sure to establish a strong foundation before introducing more advanced material.
I aim to create a comfortable and supportive learning environment where students can ask questions without feeling embarrassed about making mistakes. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to develop their problem-solving skills, independence, and confidence in learning.
My lessons are best suited for elementary and junior high school students who need additional support in mathematics, including basic arithmetic, fractions, percentages, pre-algebra, algebra, and introductory geometry. I can also assist senior high school students with foundational mathematics topics, depending on the subject and level of difficulty.
My sessions are suitable for students who want to strengthen their fundamentals, catch up on missed lessons, prepare for quizzes and examinations, or receive additional guidance with homework and practice exercises. I welcome students of different abilities and aim to tailor each session to their individual learning needs.
