About Thina
My name is Thina Dlaku living in Philippi. I matriculated in 2018 and now I am currently studying chemical engineering at CPUT, second year. I started tutoring in March 2023 at Philippi Village as a private tutor, tutoring students that wanted to upgrade their matric results.

As a dedicated and passionate private tutor, I offer personalized lessons tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each student. My approach is centered around creating a supportive, engaging, and interactive learning environment that fosters academic excellence, confidence, and curiosity.
My teaching methodology is rooted in the understanding that every student learns differently. I employ a student-centered approach, combining elements of project-based learning, inquiry-based learning, and traditional teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles. I am proficient in English and able to teach in this language. However, I also have a working knowledge of other languages and can accommodate students who may require occasional clarification or support in other languages.
