About Rhea

My journey in mathematics began with fascination for how abstract ideas can describe real-world systems with remarkable clarity. I earned a B.Sc in Mathematical Analysis and later completed an M.Sc in Computational Mathematics, which allowed me to explore both theoretical depth and applied problem solving. Over 12 years of teaching, I have supported students in developing strong foundations and confident reasoning skills.

I believe excellent math teaching requires patience, clarity, and encouragement. My teaching style focuses on explaining the “why” behind every method so students gain true understanding rather than relying on memorization. I adapt lessons to each learner’s pace, whether they need foundational rebuilding or advanced challenge.

Outside tutoring, I remain engaged with mathematics through applied computation, problem exploration, and continual learning. Teaching is fulfilling because I see students grow from self-doubt into confidence. Supporting learners as they unlock their full mathematical potential is deeply meaningful to me.

About the lesson

Mathematics becomes much easier when students see it as a structured language of patterns rather than a set of confusing steps. In my lessons, I guide learners through algebra, geometry, trigonometry, functions, and calculus preparation with clear explanations that build understanding gradually. I focus on helping students develop reasoning skills and calm confidence, so they can approach challenging problems without fear. Each session is designed to feel supportive, motivating, and intellectually clear.

My teaching approach adapts carefully to each learner’s level. Beginners strengthen arithmetic, equations, and basic algebra through guided examples and steady practice. Intermediate students build fluency in graph interpretation, multi-step word problems, and deeper function reasoning. Advanced learners refine calculus methods, proof-based thinking, exam strategies, and high-level problem solving with precision. Practice exercises, feedback, and correction support are always included so progress feels steady and achievable.

Mathematics lessons build persistence, sharper thinking, and confidence beyond academics. Students often discover that improved mathematical skill strengthens their performance in many other subjects as well. My goal is to help learners feel empowered, capable, and proud of their growing mathematical ability.
