About Mark Jay
I'm a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics majoring in Research Statistics and a DOST-SEI Scholar with a strong passion for helping students succeed in mathematics. Throughout my academic journey, I have consistently demonstrated excellence in mathematics, research, and leadership, allowing me to develop not only technical expertise but also the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and engaging way.
My teaching style is patient, interactive, and tailored to each student's needs. Every lesson begins with assessing your understanding, followed by step-by-step explanations, guided practice, and real-world examples to help you master concepts instead of simply memorizing formulas. I focus on building confidence, critical thinking, and independent problem-solving skills that students can apply both inside and outside the classroom.

As a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with Research Statistics, I strive to make mathematics simple, engaging, and less intimidating. I believe every student can succeed with the right guidance, clear explanations, and consistent practice.
My lessons are tailored to each student's learning pace and goals. A typical session includes a quick review of previous topics, step-by-step discussions of new concepts, guided practice, and problem-solving exercises to strengthen understanding and confidence.
I offer lessons in Elementary Mathematics, Junior and Senior High School Mathematics, College Mathematics, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Statistics, Probability, and Research Statistics. I also provide support for homework, quizzes, exams, and research-related statistical analysis.
What sets me apart is my strong mathematical background, patience, and personalized teaching approach. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to develop confidence, logical reasoning, and a genuine appreciation for mathematics.
