About Mikey
Hi, my name is Michael Molton and I am a private mathematics tutor. I have an A grade in both GCSE and A Level mathematics, while also having a BSc (Honours) degree. I make maths simple, easy to understand, and go as slow or as fast as required. I am very patient and very understanding. There is nothing better than seeing a student improving themselves. Their success is paramount. I can tutor online or in person. Mathematics can be a difficult subject, but with the right teacher, the complicated and unknown can become understandable quite quickly.
I am a single dad with the most amazing little boy. He is my world. So mathematics tutoring is something I can do from home if needed, or I can travel short distances. Being a Father has made me a lot more patient and understanding. If I can pass on my mathematical knowledge to others, then I believe that is what I should do.
We can work at our own pace. I'm very open to suggestions and we would work together on this, not just a case of a teacher and student.
Mathematics and working with children are two things I am passionate about. My only goal is for them to do as well as they can, then a bit better.
