About Yasha

My journey in mathematics began during my PhD in Mathematics, where I explored advanced concepts and developed a deeper understanding of logical reasoning and problem-solving. I became interested in how mathematical ideas connect and how they can be explained in a simple way to make learning easier. Over the past 11 years, I have worked with many students, helping them overcome their fear and build strong understanding through clear and structured teaching methods.

I believe that mathematics should feel logical and not difficult when it is taught with clarity and patience. My teaching approach focuses on breaking down complex problems into smaller, simple steps so students can understand them gradually. I use clear explanations, practical examples, and regular practice to support learning. I also take time to understand each student’s pace and adapt my teaching style so they feel comfortable, supported, and confident throughout their learning journey.

Outside of teaching, I continue exploring different areas of mathematics and finding better ways to explain concepts more effectively. This helps me improve my teaching and provide meaningful learning experiences. Teaching mathematics is deeply fulfilling to me because I enjoy helping students grow in confidence, develop strong problem-solving skills, and feel proud of their progress as they begin to understand concepts that once felt challenging.

About the lesson

Mathematics becomes easier when students understand the reasoning behind each step instead of trying to memorize formulas without knowing their purpose. In my lessons, I focus on building strong conceptual clarity through simple and structured explanations. We begin with foundational topics such as numbers, algebra, and equations. I explain each concept step by step using clear examples so students can follow the logic comfortably. This approach helps reduce fear and builds confidence from the beginning.

As students progress, I introduce more advanced topics such as geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and problem-solving strategies. I guide them carefully so they understand both the method and the reasoning behind each solution. Each lesson includes practice exercises, detailed explanations, and correction sessions that help students improve their accuracy. I also focus on helping students develop a clear approach to solving different types of problems with confidence.

Mathematics lessons also help students develop patience, logical thinking, and analytical skills that are useful beyond academics. They learn how to approach problems calmly, think step by step, and find solutions with clarity. Over time, students become more confident and independent learners. My goal is to make mathematics simple, understandable, and engaging while helping students build long-term confidence in their abilities.
