About Luna
My interest in mathematics began with curiosity about patterns, structures, and problem-solving. This led me to pursue a B.Sc in Pure Mathematics and an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, equipping me with expertise in abstract reasoning, analytical methods, and practical applications. Over the past 12 years, I have worked with students across all levels, helping them develop both conceptual understanding and problem-solving confidence through structured guidance and personalized support.
I believe effective teaching combines clarity, patience, and active engagement. Many learners struggle with abstract ideas or prior difficulties, so I emphasize breaking complex topics into manageable steps, using relatable examples, and reinforcing understanding through interactive exercises. My approach ensures learners not only master procedures but also gain insight into the logic underlying mathematical concepts.
Outside the classroom, I stay engaged with mathematics through research, problem-solving challenges, and exploring innovative teaching methods. Watching students grow from uncertainty to confidence, curiosity, and independent thinking is deeply rewarding.
