About Megha
Hi, I’m a Maths graduate and dedicated tutor with over 7 years of experience helping students grow in confidence and reach their full potential. I’ve always had a passion for maths—it’s a subject that rewards logical thinking and problem-solving, and I love showing students that it doesn’t have to be confusing or intimidating. I first started tutoring while studying my A-levels and quickly realised how much I enjoyed the one-to-one connection and the opportunity to make a real difference in someone’s learning journey. Since then, I’ve worked with a wide range of students—from those struggling with the basics to those aiming for top grades or preparing for competitive 11+ exams. Teaching isn’t just about getting the right answers; it’s about building confidence, resilience, and independent thinking. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and steadily improving. Hi! I'm a Maths graduate with over 7 years of tutoring experience, specialising in GCSE and 11+ preparation. I work with students aged 9 to 16, helping them grow in confidence and achieve their best in maths—whether they’re aiming to pass, get a top grade, or gain entrance to selective schools. My approach is calm, structured, and personalised. I break down tricky topics into simple, logical steps and focus on building strong foundations before moving onto more advanced material. I make sure students not only understand how to solve a problem but why the method works. I also include regular practice and mini-assessments to track progress and prepare for exam conditions. I use a mix of teaching tools—whiteboard explanations, worksheets, online quizzes, and past papers—depending on each student’s learning style. Lessons are typically 60 minutes long and can be extended if needed. I offer both online and in-person tuition, depending on your location. Who I Teach: KS2 (Years 5 & 6 – 11+ prep) KS3 (Years 7–9) GCSE Maths (Years 10–11, all major exam boards) Whether you're struggling with the basics or aiming for a top grade, I’ll create a personalised learning plan to help you succeed.
