About Helene
I grew up in Paris and studied maths at Durham University. I am able to teach maths in both English and French. I really enjoy the subject and have always helped my friends when they were struggling; I have been told multiple times my explanations are very clear and concise. I gave maths lessons to a 14-year-old when I was in my last year of school and I know it helped her a lot.

I am always very patient and understanding with the students I help. I try my best to understand the exact step they are struggling with in order for me to give a precise explanation. I am very flexible and fully orient the lessons according to the student’s needs. My first priority is to make sure the student feels comfortable to ask me anything during the lessons as this is how they make progress.

Perfect! Hélene has been very patient with our 6 years old girl, took her time to go through basic Maths exercise and slowly moved up to increased difficulty. Great pedagogy for a little one, making the lesson fun and enjoyable. We'll be moving to a weekly lesson with Helene!
