About Franny
Hi, I'm Franny, a BSc Hons Mathematics graduate with 5+ years of tutoring experience.
I work with students from KS1 through to GCSE, providing calm, supportive tuition that is tailored to each individual's needs. I have experience supporting SEN learners and home-educated students.
My sessions are friendly and encouraging, and I show you that maths doesn't have to be scary, but can actually be quite fun - although maybe only a tutor would say that!

My aim is to help students feel confident, capable, and less anxious about maths, whether they're catching up, preparing for exams, or simply looking to strengthen their understanding.
In a typical 60-minute session, we begin by recapping the previous topic to reinforce understanding. Together, we identify any sticking points before moving on to the next topic. If the student is struggling with a particular concept, we do a deep dive into alternative approaches that a teacher wouldn't have time to discuss in a classroom. Every problem has multiple approaches, and it's all about finding the one that resonates.
