About Sophia

My interest in mathematics began with curiosity about numbers, patterns, and problem-solving. I earned a B.Sc in Mathematics and an M.Sc in Statistics, equipping me with both theoretical knowledge and practical analytical skills. Over 10 years, I have helped students of all levels cultivate confidence, reasoning ability, and conceptual understanding. I teach with patience, clarity, and structured guidance. Lessons combine visual explanations, real-life applications, and stepwise problem-solving techniques. I focus on fostering independent thinking, encouraging students to explore solutions creatively while building confidence in their skills. Beyond teaching, I engage in applied mathematics, research projects, and problem-solving challenges to remain current. This enables me to bring fresh perspectives into lessons and connect concepts to real-world scenarios.
