About Briar

I hold a PhD in Pure Mathematics and have 11 years of teaching experience. My journey in Mathematics started with a strong interest in numbers, patterns, and logical thinking. Over time, this interest grew into a passion for teaching and helping students understand complex ideas in a simple way.

My teaching approach focuses on clarity, patience, and structured explanation. I break down difficult problems into smaller steps so students can follow them easily. I encourage questions and active participation, creating a positive learning environment where students feel supported. I also adapt my teaching style based on each learner’s needs and pace.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy exploring mathematical theories and solving challenging problems. Teaching Math is deeply rewarding because I see students grow from confusion to confidence. Helping them build strong problem-solving skills and achieve their goals motivates me to continue teaching with dedication and care.

About the lesson

Mathematics becomes powerful when students learn to understand ideas clearly instead of memorizing formulas without meaning. My lessons focus on building strong conceptual clarity in algebra, geometry, and calculus using simple explanations and step-by-step methods. I guide students to see patterns, relationships, and logical connections so they can approach problems with confidence. Each lesson is calm, structured, and interactive, allowing learners to ask questions and explore ideas freely without pressure.

I design lessons based on each student’s level and learning speed. Beginners start with basic arithmetic, number sense, and simple equations with patient guidance. Intermediate learners develop skills in algebraic expressions, geometry, and structured problem solving. Advanced students work on calculus, functions, and complex reasoning techniques. Practice problems, revision sessions, and guided solutions are included in every lesson to help students improve steadily and build strong confidence.

Mathematics helps students develop clear thinking and problem-solving skills that are useful beyond academics. As they gain confidence, they begin to enjoy solving challenging questions and thinking independently. Many students feel proud when they understand concepts that once seemed difficult. My goal is to make Mathematics clear, engaging, and empowering so every learner feels capable and confident.
