About Francis
I am a mathematician who has taught various undergraduate level courses at different universities for more than 12 years. I believe that mathematical learning molds students into better thinkers and problem solvers and that any student can learn and practice mathematics with appropriate guidance. I earned my Ph.D. in 2014 and moved from Oregon to Massachusetts two years ago.

My lessons are planned weekly instead of daily and they can be adjusted as necessary to t the needs of the
class. By preparing lessons in advance, I can anticipate possible difficulties or questions that might arise and develop alternate exposition in such cases. This gives me the opportunity to insert valuable examples and comments that will be helpful for future topics.

If the client cancels the lesson less than 24 hours before the lesson the client must pay the tutor a cancellation fee, which is one half of the one-hour tutoring rate.
