About Muhammad
I am a passionate learner with a deep interest in mathematics, science, and philosophy, having studied advanced topics such as multivariable calculus, abstract algebra, topology, and theoretical physics from an early age. Alongside my own studies, I enjoy sharing knowledge with others and breaking down challenging concepts into simple, clear explanations.
I want to teach because I believe education should empower students, not overwhelm them. Having experienced both the excitement of discovery and the frustration of struggling with difficult ideas, I know how important it is to have someone who can guide you with patience and clarity. Teaching allows me to inspire curiosity, build confidence, and help students see subjects not as a list of rules to memorise, but as a set of powerful tools for understanding the world.

I use a student-centred approach, focusing on understanding rather than memorisation. My teaching involves breaking down complex ideas into simple, logical steps, using real-world examples and analogies to make abstract concepts clear. I encourage active participation through questioning, problem-solving, and discussion, so students develop critical thinking skills as well as subject knowledge. I also adapt lessons to each student’s learning style—visual, auditory, or practical—so the material resonates with them.
A standard session lasts around 60 minutes, though I can provide shorter or longer lessons depending on the student’s needs. Within this time, I usually combine explanation, guided practice, and independent problem-solving to ensure concepts are both understood and applied.
I have a strong academic background in mathematics and science, having studied advanced topics far beyond the typical school curriculum (including calculus, abstract algebra, topology, and theoretical physics). I also create educational content, which has helped me refine my ability to explain complex topics in simple, engaging ways. My experience tutoring peers and younger students has shown me how to tailor explanations for different ability levels.
My lessons are suitable for a wide range of learners, typically from secondary school students (11+) to A-level/early university level. I specialise in mathematics, physics, and related STEM subjects, but I can also support with exam preparation (GCSE, A-level), problem-solving skills, and developing deeper mathematical understanding for more advanced learners.
