About Colleen
"Calculating the precise geometry needed for building designs first led me to appreciate the elegance of pure mathematics. I hold a B.Arch with BIM specialization from the University of Otago, which serves as a sturdy foundation for my tutoring work. My focus remains on helping students navigate the complexities of coordinate geometry and trigonometry.
Competition math prep and statistics are also areas where I provide clarity. Often I see students struggling to find the right strategy for problem solving. We can work on mental math to speed up your accuracy. It really just comes down to practice."

"Students frequently hit a wall when approaching abstract statistical concepts or complex probability problems. This barrier is exactly what we dismantle during our time together.
I begin by administering a diagnostic test for every student before we begin. This allows me to see the gaps in your current knowledge clearly.
We then use your B.Arch background in applied logic to address homework help. My approach leans on the degree I earned at the University of Otago.
You will find that we cover 8.0 distinct areas of study. We then move through the curriculum at a pace that suits your individual needs. Complex tasks become simple sequences.
You gain confidence through consistent repetition. Everything we do serves to prepare you for University Entrance."
