In my lessons, we explore advanced theoretical mathematics with care and reflection. I guide students through the elegant world of abstract algebra, revealing how structures emerge from simple rules. I support those exploring mathematics on their own or transitioning from other fields, helping them gain confidence as they tackle complex theorems.

My approach ensures that even abstract concepts feel accessible and meaningful. Questions are welcomed, and curiosity is celebrated. Lessons are designed to foster understanding, insight, and appreciation for the elegance of higher mathematics. Step by step, students develop their own perspective and mastery over challenging ideas.

About the lesson

I am a Maths tutor with over two years of experience and a BSc in Mathematics and Economics. My passion lies in non-Euclidean geometry, where the familiar rules of flat space give way to surprising and fascinating structures. I focus on curved spaces, guiding students through hyperbolic and spherical geometry using clear visual models to make abstract ideas tangible. Each concept is enriched with historical context, showing how mathematicians over centuries challenged traditional assumptions to explore new kinds of space.

I have worked with students interested in abstract geometry, theoretical physics, and the philosophy of mathematics, adapting lessons to their unique curiosities and goals. Together, we investigate how lines, angles, and surfaces behave in spaces that defy intuition. I emphasise understanding rather than memorisation, encouraging students to question, explore, and reason deeply.

My lessons are designed to cultivate both confidence and curiosity, helping learners appreciate the beauty of mathematics beyond formulas. I aim to create a supportive space where complex ideas feel accessible and engaging. By studying curved spaces and their implications, students expand their perception of geometry and the universe.
