About Karley
As you have seen from earlier in this ad, I have loved math since I was a child. By 5th grade I knew I wanted to become a math teacher and spent my middle and high school years working towards where I am today. I graduated high school as salutatorian while also achieving my Associates of Arts degree from Clark College. From there I have been studying at Washington State University majoring in mathematics. In December of 2024 I will graduate with my Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics specified in mathematics secondary education teaching. I am aiming to tutor individuals in hopes to collect hours for my application for my masters in teaching program through my university.

I have always loved math and since I was a child I have helped my peers with understanding math lessons that they didn’t understand from our teacher.
As a tutor I first would want to know the child’s background in math.This can be done by a simple test on different skill sets in math or if the child already has proof of knowledge in those specific skill areas.
My lessons can be interactive as so that they get a hands on learning experience. This has been shown to have a better understanding and memory retention of what they are learning.
