About Nathalie
I am a Biology major and a bilingual educator fluent in both English and Spanish. My teaching background is very hands-on. I worked as a Teacher Assistant with Chicago Public Schools, specifically supporting newcomer students and young parenting women. During that time, I helped my students bridge the gap between Spanish and English while mastering math concepts. I saw firsthand how much a little extra support can change a student's confidence, and I am proud of the progress my students made.
Beyond my work in high schools, I have also been a TA for college Physiology and took a specialized course on how to be an effective Learning Assistant. This means I understand the best ways to help information actually stick. I am very flexible and can easily adapt to whatever learning style works best for you. Even if we come across a topic I need to refresh my memory on, I am great at quickly mastering new concepts so I can explain them clearly. Whether we work in English or Spanish, I am here to make sure you feel supported and ready to succeed.

I am a bilingual college student (English & Spanish) with experience as a Teaching Assistant, so I know exactly how frustrating it feels when a lesson just doesn’t click. My goal is to take the stress out of learning by breaking down tricky Math, Biology, and Chemistry problems into simple, step-by-step pieces that finally make sense.
During my time as a TA, I learned how to explain difficult topics in ways that are easy to understand. I don’t just want you to memorize a formula for a day; I want you to truly understand how it works so you can walk into your next exam feeling confident. I am very patient and happy to conduct lessons in either English or Spanish depending on what feels most comfortable for you. Whether you’re trying to catch up or just want to get ahead, I’m here to help you get the grades you want!
