About Alison
I absolutely love teaching math. I have a real passion for helping students understand Pre-Algebra and Algebra, which is the foundation of higher level mathematics. I have both a bachelor's and master's degree in math education, along with 29 years of teaching experience. I am also certified in both gifted and dyslexia education.

I believe that everyone can learn math. I enjoy working one on one with students to see how they process math so that I can find a way to make it make sense. I use my experience of 29 years to teach topics in a variety of ways so that the student can learn within their unique learning style. Above all, I try to provide a positive, nonthreatening and fun approach to math.
