About Matt
I strive to create a calm and thoughtful environment where the student can feel at ease with me, the subject matter, and our path forward. I’m a proud father of two boys, a 6 yr old with special needs and a deep passion for math, and a baby with a deep passion for pizza. Being their dad has helped me to slow down and appreciate the journey and enjoy building the skills needed to address the topics at hand.

I love to teach. More importantly, I love to individualize instruction and present the topics in a way that is fun and engaging. I’ve worked with students at all levels and backgrounds in math.
I’ve also led Growth Mindset and Foundations courses which aim to foster an attitude of perseverance and an appreciation for the world around us. I’ve applied mathematics to teaching AP computer science as well and have a love for how math is used in modern applications.
I’d love to spend time with you or your child and fill in the gaps you may have to create a stronger understanding of the math we use in every day life.

Perfect! He was great :3
Perfect! Our son has needed extra help as he is diagnosed on the spectrum. Matt has been very patient and has experience with students dealing with this and has done an excellent job so far. We would highly recommend Matt anyone needing extra help for their child.
