About Liz

I am a math teacher who has been tutoring since I was in high school. Students and parents alike have expressed the student understanding content better and being less confused in class. Students have said they feel more confident in math.

About the lesson

I begin by asking students where they are confused. I will look at their work and use their prior knowledge to teach new concepts and skills. When students are confused I will go back to what they understand and have learned previously and then build on that.
