About Anna
I am a recent Neuroscience doctoral graduate, with a B.S. in Biology & Chemistry. I have tutored students for 13 years in all core subject categories. Most recently, I was a guest lecturer on Neurodevelopment, teaching assistant in Psychology and Cell Biology, and mentor for 13 undergraduate and high school students in Research, Neuroscience, and Molecular Biology.

My teaching methodology aligns with the proverb, "Give a man to fish, he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish, he eats for a lifetime." I want to make sure my students understand Why the answer is what it is. The process is more critical than the outcome in my experience. My goal is to send my students out with the capacity to tackle problems on their own. This means asking my students questions testing their reading comprehension, and providing them with practice problems.
