About Rachel

I am 21 years old, and have been tutoring for a fairly long time, 7 years to be exact. With this experience comes not only knowledge of the courses, but also compassion. I understand that everyone learns differently, and that no one thinks the same, that's why we have to find what works best for you! As someone who has struggled in the past with finding study methods that work for me, I feel like I can really help other people find a method to learn that works with them, and have it be an experience that is positive, rather than stressful.

About the lesson

-Going through notes and rewording the ideas in a way that they make sense to the student, always personalized.

-My lessons typically focus on whatever the student most needs at that time. Usually I prefer to get their work in advance to be able to create a plan based on their personal struggles.

-Lessons are for elementary students to high school students, I specialize mostly in math as that is what I tutor the most, however, I also offer lessons for sciences, French and English.

-I believe what sets me apart from the other tutors is how much I care about my students. I feel strongly about creating a bond with them so that they feel comfortable telling me if they truly understand or not. It matters to me how any why they are struggling.
