About Ranjani
I currently teach high school math and science at a private school in Toronto. I have been teaching for the past 3 years. I also tutor various high school science/ math subjects in Etobicoke. I have tutored 8 students until now. I have been told that I am very patient and enthusiastic listener. I give a lot of space for student thinking and inquiry. I am an Ontario Certified Teacher with specialization in intermediate and senior science. I have done my Masters in Education degree in Arizona, US. I was also a Research Scientist in a Fuel Cells Organization for 3 years. I have observed that my experience has given me different perspectives in understanding and teaching science and math to children and youngsters, by relating the concepts to real world examples.

I approach each concept with student inquiry. I try to connect the concept with the students knowledge and make it relevant with their everyday life. I try to make the learning as hands-on/experimental as possible. I make a lot of intermediate assessment to see how much or how fast the student learns.
