About Steven
An avid writer and reader I always struggled with math and never liked it until I had the right teacher! After that I decided to take on the challenge and study Math in college. Some quick detours through Physics and Electrical Engineering and I now have my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a focus in teaching from Vanguard University. I took on the challenge and I am so happy I did! The right teacher made all the difference for me in my life, I am hoping I can pay that forward! Tutoring has been my full-time job now for 6 years! It is what paid for my college and I have loved every second of it, getting to watch hundreds of students overcome struggles and become more confident in themselves and their abilities is an absolute joy!

With years of experience and a lifetime of struggling with math on an uphill battle I can say with certainty that it can be overcome, and might even be fun! As a writer and lover of art firstly, I feel it when students don't like math, I understand! But with guidance from others I not only succeeded in math but even enjoyed it, and you can too! Students from pre-algebra all the way to calculus and anything in between will get personal, tailored help to demystify math and make it, at the very least, less of a headache.
