About Ronald
I have a Math degree from an accredited university in the Washington, DC area. I taught middle and high school Mathematics. I programmed for NASA and was a Mathematician for the Department of Defense. I also taught computer science on the high school level. Right now, I am the Assessment Director at a local University. The latter gives me insight of test taking skills and solving word problems.

I present fun, easy to understand lessons for middle school students. I strive to help students understand the correlation of math with real world situations. Example of a lesson in measure of central tendencies, I might ask students to imagine they are general managers of their favorite football franchise. Given stats and names they recognize, compute average yards per carry and receptions to help draft players. Other stats such as tackles per game, 40 yard times, completion percentage are considered. Students can explain their draft choices based on the stats. Middle School experience is very important because this is where the foundation of knowledge, discipline and interest is created for future successes!
