About Mason (Masoud)

Hello, my name is Mason and you can contact me at (concealed information)
As a tutor in Physics and Math, I specialize in assisting high school and university students in comprehending and clarifying complex concepts. My goal is to alleviate some of the stress associated with these subjects, while enabling my students to achieve a greater understanding of Physics and Math courses.
For more than 20 years, I have been providing tutoring services to students, utilizing both online and in-person teaching methods. The majority of my tutoring sessions take place on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, which I conduct online, from my home classroom situated at Major Mackenzie/Bathurst or even at your place for one-to-one tutoring . Tutoring is my primary occupation, and I am fully committed to providing my services on a full-time basis.

About the lesson

I have observed that the following types of students have achieved great success while working with me:

1- High school students who aspire to excel: I have worked with numerous grade 9 and 12 students who possess grades in the range of 60-75%. These students require a better understanding of fundamental physics and math concepts to enhance their grades and better equip them for university. A robust foundation in problem-solving strategies is crucial and enables students to succeed. Several students who have dedicated themselves to hard work and commitment have improved their grades by 15-20%.
2- Exceptional students who seek deeper understanding: As a university physics major myself, I comprehend the desire of students to comprehend concepts more profoundly- both at the secondary and university levels.
As a tutor, I offer various types of support to my students, which include:
1-Guiding students on how to begin solving a problem.
2-Explaining fundamental concepts underlying a problem.
3-Reviewing and consolidating previous lessons before moving to the next step.
4-Breaking down complex topics into more manageable and understandable parts.
5-Collaborating with students to work through homework assignments.
6-Preparing students for exams by reviewing relevant course material.
7-Conducting practice tests to help students understand the format and structure of exams.
8-Assisting students in working on Physics lab reports, including the planning, execution, and write-up of experiments.
