About Julio César
PhD student in Physico-Mathematical Sciences Master in Physics Bachelor of Physics and Mathematics My classes begin by studying the needs of my students, as the objectives are always very varied. From this analysis, I propose the strategy that my experience dictates. I am a person who always looks for the examples that are most familiar to those who are aimed at my classes, so I combine informal language with the formal and precise language of mathematics and physics. I always recommend restructuring the concepts learned and questioning them in order to create the own representations that my students will use in their day to day. I have taught high school for two years and physics and mathematics for engineering in Mexico for 10 years at the National Polytechnic Institute. In addition, I have worked in Barcelona with the company Artificial Intelligence Applications, so I am in contact with a wide spectrum of applicability of mathematics and physics. Besides, my PhD research deals with the shape and structure of the universe from the point of view of the standard model of cosmology, which is a very interesting topic because it takes us deep into the very beginning of the universe, its evolution and its distant future. .

Since mathematics and physics are algorithmic, the process is structured. However, also the construction of the concepts is important. Therefore, as much as possible, I try to introduce my classes in a constructivist way, which I consider the most natural way of studying science in general.
