About Elias

I’m Elias, 25— currently doing my Master’s in Information Systems in Mannheim/UoW, though I’m probably happiest on a ski slope, the football field or planning my next trip (56 countries so far). I’ve coached football, homeschooled als and au pair through covid, taught skiing, and worked in IT project management at Porsche, and what I keep coming back to is how much I enjoy helping someone get unstuck. I struggled with math myself, so I know that feeling well. It’s part of why I like tutoring it now. For me, teaching isn’t about having all the answers, it’s about figuring it out together.

About the lesson

I know what it’s like to sit in a class completely lost. Higher math 1 nearly broke me too before it finally clicked and I even became a tutor in that subject. That’s why I care less about rushing through material and more about making sure you actually understand it, one step at a time. I’m patient by nature — years of teaching kids to ski taught me that everyone learns differently, and that yelling louder never helped anyone get down the mountain faster. Lessons with me are relaxed, judgment-free, and paced around you, not a syllabus. I want you to leave every session feeling more confident than when you arrived.
