About Helia
I am a master’s student with a strong passion for mathematics and teaching. I enjoy helping students understand math in a simple and interesting way by connecting lessons to real-life examples and stories. My goal is to build students’ confidence and help them truly understand concepts instead of only memorizing formulas. I am patient, supportive, and dedicated to creating a positive learning environment for elementary and high school students.

I teach mathematics using real-life examples so students can understand concepts more easily and connect math to everyday situations. I do not want students to only memorize formulas — I help them understand how formulas are created and why they work. My lessons are for elementary and high school students. During my bachelor’s degree, I had a professor who only taught formulas without explanation, and that experience showed me how important storytelling and understanding are in learning mathematics.
