About Barbara
I have been tutoring undergraduates in politics since 2018 and before that was a horse-riding instructor so I am patient, communicable and approachable. One of my previous students recently ended their 3rd year of university with a first-class pass. I hold a BA Honours Degree in History, Politics and International Relations and I am currently studying a Msc in International Relations, Law and Security.

I am able to provide lessons and support to students from secondary school up to Second year of university undergraduate degrees. My teaching method is active and ensures a balance between explanation and practice. I ensure and engaging discussion of the subject and then will ask the student to apply what they have learnt to problems and questions to ensure engagement and understanding whilst always being on hand to offer support. Pre-assessment will be a critical step to establish the student's goals and what knowledge/skills they already posses.
