About Shayna
I’m a Masters student myself, currently studying Intercultural Business Communications, so I’ll fully relate to being a student. I did my undergrad degree in Zoo and Wildlife Biology, and honestly really struggled in it, until I finally got it. I love science even though it was tough for me, and I know exactly how it feels to be banging your head against the wall because it JUST DOESN’T MAKE SENSE. I want to help you cross that threshold from frustration to the wonderful feeling of understanding. (And make enough money to afford food. I am still a student after all ) If I don’t know something, we’ll look it up together. Mostly, I want to help people the way I wish I had someone to help me. If that sounds interesting, hit me up! I believe in a conversational, relationship based method of learning. You’ll be a lot more inclined to dig in for that “click” if you feel like I care about whether or not your really understand. I use a lot of analogies and examples when explaining tough conceptual subjects which allows your brain to redirect and think in a new and easier way.
