About Tamun
Throughout my undergraduate experience at UIUC, I served as a Course Assistant for 3 years. Following that, I went straight into my Master's program at UChicago in which I was a graduate research assistant as well, where I mentored undergraduate researchers. Now, I work as an Instructional Assistant for various courses here at UChicago. This means I am responsible for lectures, discussion sections, and office hours. I have consistently received positive feedback from all my students and supervisors.

Learning is more than memorizing. I pride myself in helping you create study habits that are conducive for understanding, rather than testing you on how well you can regurgitate facts back to me. Psychology, specifically, is built on many foundational facts that continue to stack on top of each other. I have experience teaching courses from data science (for research) to sensation and perception (neuroscience). Through teaching these various courses, I have learned that every student is different and there is no one-size-fits-all method to helping you master your course work.
