About Beryl

With over 12 years of teaching experience and professional training in language education, I bring both expertise and passion to every lesson. I hold an advanced TESOL certificate as well as a university-level teaching qualification, and throughout my career I have guided thousands of students toward their goals. Many of them have achieved IELTS band 7.0 overall and even band 9.0 in listening—and I believe you can achieve one day as well. My teaching style is a balance of professional rigor and engaging methods. I enjoy exploring different approaches to make learning not only effective, but also enjoyable. In my class, you’ll experience the fun of learning while gaining solid techniques to improve your English step by step. I am also a teacher who values discipline and dedication—because every moment in the classroom is valuable. With my experience, strategies, and your commitment, we will work together to build both your skills and your confidence, helping you succeed in exams and beyond.

About the lesson

I hold an Advanced TESOL Certificate and a University Tutor Certificate from China, and I am passionate about helping students at all levels achieve their language goals. Whether you're aiming for a high IELTS or PTE score, or you're delving into the fascinating world of linguistics, my lessons are designed to meet your specific needs.

My approach to tutoring is dynamic and flexible, drawing from a range of strategies including inductive and deductive reasoning, as well as Second Language Acquisition (SLA) theories, to suit learners at different stages of their language journey. I aim to create a student-centered learning environment where we focus on understanding the why behind language rules, not just memorizing them.

Each lesson is one hour long, ensuring that we have enough time for both targeted practice and in-depth discussion. Whether you’re a beginner tackling basic language skills or an advanced learner preparing for a test, I tailor each session to match your level, learning style, and objectives.
