I am an academic instruction librarian with a Master's in Library and Information Science and Bachelor's degree in English. I have years of teaching and student success experience at the collegiate level that prepares me to help both college and high school students.

I adapt my teaching style to the individual student and their assignment. I never assume knowledge and meet the student where they are at, breaking down concepts and building up their confidence and skills from there.
In addition to writing support, as an academic librarian I am very skilled in teaching how to research for writing assignments at the college and high school level. For high schoolers preparing for college, I am very familiar with the academic expectations at the college level and can work with them to prepare them for that transition.
