About Aria
I hold a Master’s degree in Mathematics and have been teaching for 4 years, working with high school, college, and university students. My journey began with a love for numbers and patterns, which evolved into a passion for helping others understand and enjoy mathematics as much as I do. My teaching approach is centred around patience, clarity, and real-world application. I believe mathematics is best learned through understanding rather than memorisation. I encourage my students to ask questions, explore multiple methods of solving problems, and relate concepts to everyday contexts, helping them build stronger connections to the subject. My lessons are structured to help students gain a strong grasp of mathematical concepts and problem-solving strategies. I focus on building clarity and confidence by breaking down difficult topics into simple, logical steps. Each session is tailored to the student’s academic level, curriculum, and individual goals, ensuring consistent progress and deeper understanding. I specialise in teaching Calculus, Statistics, and Number Theory—three fundamental and widely applied areas in advanced mathematics. In Calculus, we explore limits, derivatives, and integrals with detailed examples and real-life applications. In Statistics, we focus on data interpretation, probability, and distribution analysis, while Number Theory introduces students to mathematical logic and patterns used in cryptography and proofs. Assignments and exam preparation are a key part of every lesson. I guide students through past papers, clarify tricky concepts, and help them develop time management skills during tests. My goal is to create independent problem-solvers who can confidently tackle any mathematical challenge they face academically or professionally.
