About Joe
During my early years of high school, Maths did not come naturally to me and I jumped around the lower sets of my school. After seeking additional tutoring I began to grow in confidence and slowly found that the subject became much clearer in my head. From there I was able to go on to study a masters degree at a top university, work on the consulting graduate scheme at Deloitte and recently secured a position at the Bank of England! Without the tutoring I received during high school none of that would have been possible, and therefore I am passionate about helping other students who may be in a similar situation to the one I was in, to show them that there is no such thing as being 'bad at Maths', if you put a little extra work in !

My lessons are interactive and engaging . I believe the best way for anybody to learn is to work through problems themselves, with my guidance and instruction on techniques and methods to follow.
lessons will typically be no longer than one hour long, ensuring maximum concentration can be maintained throughout the lesson.
I studied maths up to A-level in school and continued to apply it heavily during my four years of studying Economics at University. Throughout my studies, I tutored numerous students up to GCSE level, including all abilities !
As somebody who used to struggled with Maths during my early years of school, I understand the importance of tailoring the difficulty of lessons to fit each student, picking up the pace as they become more comfortable.
