Hi! I'm Katie. I have been a local tutor for many years and I really enjoy it! I would love to help you enjoy English and to reach your full potential in this subject. I have been working as a private tutor for over five years and have clocked up over 700 teaching hours to date.

I offer personalised and detailed lessons covering specific book/ poetry analysis, essay writing skills and exam technique.
Lessons are usually 1 hour long, but longer lessons can be arranged if you would prefer.
I have A grades at GCSE and A-Level,
I have an Honours Degree in Law and a Masters Degree in English Literature.
My lessons are for those aged 11-18 at KS3 level, GCSE level and A-level.

Katie is an absolutely amazing tutor, she tutored me in English and really helped to boost my GCSE grades. She gave me some great tips to help me push my essays to receive the highest marks and fave me so much confidence, I would definitely recommend Katie!
