About Brittany
Children have been my passion for as long as I can remember. Spending 13 years in the classroom has allowed me to engage with and influence so many young minds. I remember being a kid! I remember the lessons I loved and the ones I didn’t. Learning should always be fun and interactive. I believe children should always have engaging songs, rhymes, and manipulatives to use during lessons. Lessons have a structured flow that students learn to expect. We begin with something engaging like a song or story. We interact with hand motions to learn phonological awareness. We move into a structured literacy where we follow “I do, we do, you do” gradual release. Independent practice always given for progress monitoring.
