About Nicole
I have always known I wanted to be a teacher and once I officially started 9 years ago, I knew this was where I belong! I enjoy creating fun and engaging lessons for all students. I have worked with students from Preschool to 8th grade in all subjects. My goal is to ensure my students enjoy learning and feel more successful in school!

I create individualized approaches to ensure that each student has an opportunity to be successful. I use a multimodality approach to reach each student's learning style. A typical lesson includes a pre lesson preparation to give the student an idea of what they will be learning as well as engage their attention. Next I will move into direct instruction on the topic using clear and thorough wording. After some practice problems and the student shows work, I will review their understanding or misunderstandings. Throughout the lesson, students have time to ask questions and express any misunderstandings. I aim to make each lesson fun and exciting for each student!
