About Heather
I am not only a teacher, but I have raised 6 children myself. I treat students the way I wanted my children to be treated by their teachers, with respect and patience. However, it is important to maintain appropriate student/teacher boundaries as well so we will need to stay focused on the work at hand.

My specialty is working with struggling learners. I am patient and am willing to look for different strategies to help a student figure out how to do their assigned work. Typically, I break down instructions into chunks to make it easier to decipher the work. I like using visual examples as well.
