About Katrina
I am currently a Masters' student of Biochemistry at the University of Toronto. I have received my Bsc (honours) of Biomedical sciences at Ryerson University. I am always excited to share my love of science and languages with my students. As a tutor, helping students understand academic material is a top priority. I also like to mentor my students on other aspects, wether it be building confidence or learning different studying skills. I aim to teach all my students the materials as well as skills they can use after our sessions are complete. I also have a team of tutors I work with, each with years of experience tutoring and with Master degrees in biochemistry and biomedical engineering. Together we have over 10 years of tutoring experience

My team and I will go through your professors/ teachers lessons, understand their expectations of you and gage what resources are available to you. If we notice that extra resources are needed we can provide them. Together we will work through class notes, textbooks and the resources provided to ensure you develop great studying techniques and learn to pull from other resources when class materials are not enough. Our main goal is to help you gain confidence in the subjects you need help with and gain confidence in yourself ! We value to teach with compassion, kindness and help you built confidence!

Katrina is a very down to Earth tutor. She is easy to get along with and communicate your problems to. I would highly recommend her for any of your biology needs.
