About Kathryn
Holding a BMus in Vocal Studies from the Australian National Academy of Music gives me a unique perspective on musicality that I apply to the piano. My 12 years of teaching have led me to work with 446 students, ranging from nervous beginners to those ready for performance.
I focus on pedaling technique, sight transposition, and dynamics and expression to help you sound professional. We also tackle scales and arpeggios, sight reading, and memorization techniques. It is satisfying to watch students develop a deep connection to their instruments.
