• 1. Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

  My interest in animation began at a young age, sparked by a fascination with storytelling and visual art. I was captivated by how animated films could bring characters to life and evoke deep emotions using just drawings and movement.

• 2. What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

  My motivation to teach animation comes from a combination of personal passion and a desire to inspire others the way I was once inspired. I've had the privilege of learning from mentors who not only taught me the technical aspects of animation but also encouraged me to see the creative potential in myself. Their support played a huge role in shaping my journey, and I want to be that same guiding influence for others.

• 3. How does your work help society?

  As an animator, my work helps society by shaping how people see, feel, and understand the world. Animation isn't just entertainment-it's a powerful form of communication that can educate, inspire, and raise awareness. Whether it's through short films, educational videos, or visual storytelling, animation can break down complex ideas and present them in ways that are accessible and engaging to all ages.

• 4. If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

  The Lion King motivates me to create work that's not only visually strong, but emotionally meaningful-stories that connect with people, stay with them, and maybe even change how they see the world.

• 5. Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

  Outside of teaching, I have a variety of hobbies that keep me inspired and creatively refreshed. One of my main passions is sketching and digital illustration-even when I'm not working on an animation project, I love drawing characters, experimenting with styles, and just letting my imagination flow on the page.

• 6. Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

  Yes, one moment that stands out from my teaching experience was when I was guiding a student who struggled with confidence in their animation skills. They had creative ideas but were hesitant to share their work, constantly comparing themselves to others and second-guessing every frame.
