About Wes
I am a passionate chess tutor with over 7 years of experience teaching students of all ages, from school students to college learners and working professionals. My approach is based on flexibility, collaboration, and empathy, tailoring each lesson to suit the student's learning style and pace. I focus on improving critical thinking, strategy, and decision-making skills through interactive gameplay and analysis. I encourage students to work together, share ideas, and learn from each other's experiences. In addition to chess, I also teach other related subjects such as checkers, backgammon, and Risk, using a supportive and engaging teaching style to ensure continuous progress and growth.
