About Kyle

Hey there, I'm Kyle, and music has been the driving force in my life for as long as I can remember. Ever since I first laid my hands on the turntables at the age of 18, I knew I had found my true calling. Growing up, I was surrounded by music and I was always driven by an insatiable passion for sound. Fast forward nearly two decades, and I've lived and breathed the DJ lifestyle, spinning tracks for crowds almost every weekend, sometimes even multiple times a week. While my heart beats to the pulse of house music, my repertoire extends far beyond; from the infectious rhythms of hip-hop to the soulful vibes of funk, reggae, and bass music, I've curated electrifying atmospheres in lounges, clubs, and prestigious events. My journey through the DJ scene has been nothing short of exciting. I've had the privilege of DJing for renowned companies like Apple, Red Bull, and Tesla, as well regularly playing at clubs. Opening for and playing alongside international icons such as Chris Lake, DJ Colette, and James Zabiela has been both an honor and an inspiration. But amidst everything, teaching has always remained close to my heart. For years, I've mentored aspiring DJs at Beat Drop in Calgary, witnessing their growth and success firsthand. My teaching philosophy revolves around demystifying the art of DJing, breaking down complex techniques into digestible nuggets of knowledge. With almost two decades of experience playing to live crowds, I've honed an intuitive understanding of crowd psychology, mastering the art of making people dance and creating unforgettable vibes. In 2023, I made the leap to Vancouver, a city whose musical pulse resonates deeply with my soul. Since my arrival, I've been welcomed with open arms, eager to share my passion and expertise with a new community of music lovers. Beyond the decks, my love for music extends to the realms of production and sound engineering. Fluent in Ableton Live and well-versed in studio techniques, I'm constantly pushing the boundaries of creativity, seeking out the next groundbreaking sound. And let's not forget my enduring love affair with analog synthesizers and high-fidelity sound - there's something truly magical about the warmth and depth they bring to music. One of the seminal albums that sparked my journey into house music was Daft Punk's legendary 'Homework' - a timeless masterpiece that continues to inspire me to this day.
