About Jamyra
I am a soon to be teacher with 4 years of experience helping elementary students in the classroom. I have worked one on one with students, in small groups, and taught plenty of whole group lessons. I take pride in being able to understand my students' confusion and work with them to figure out a solution. I've always loved explaining things to my students and seeing their face light up when they finally understand the concept.

When working with elementary school students, its very important to have patience and be understanding of their needs. Some students need the question broken down for them verbally, some students need an example modeled for them before they can do it on their own. I'm able to meet a variety of those needs with patience, encouragement, and kindness. I also make it a priority to hold high expectations for all of my students to ensure they are trying their best.
