About Leonard

Hey! I'm Leonard, but you can call me "Leon" or "Leo" if you like! I live in Stuttgart, Germany and completed my bachelor's degree in teaching French and art there. I'm currently continuing this course with a master's degree.
I am fully committed to becoming a teacher! I love helping by nature and have a lot of fun teaching others. I have also learned this during my practical experience, e.g. during internships, tutoring or my foreign language assistantship in Canada!
In addition to languages, I am interested in art and am artistically active myself.

About the lesson

Bienvenue !

First of all, I would be delighted to get to know you and accompany you on your journey of the French language! So, for now...

My name is Leonard and I have a bachelor's degree in teaching with a combination of French and fine arts. I am currently studying for a master's degree (in Baden-Württemberg, Germany) so that I can soon teach at a high school!

Helping other people to develop and grow is fulfilling and brings me joy every day. I have noticed this during my many practical experiences, for example as a foreign language assistant in Canada (Quebec) and in tutoring!

No matter whether you are a beginner or advanced learner or for what reasons you are motivated to learn French - as your teacher it is my concern to help you to develop your language skills effectively and with a lot of joy!

Here is an overview of what you can expect in my lessons:

My teaching techniques and methods are based on interaction and engagement. I strongly believe in an individual approach that is adapted to your needs and your own learning style.
I combine various didactic methods such as interactive exercises, role plays and visual aids to make learning as dynamic as possible. Of course, mistakes are allowed and welcome, because that's how we learn! You should always feel comfortable and have fun in this learning environment, that's my top priority!

Each lesson follows a clear pattern: we begin by setting a goal for the lesson and then move on to explaining and learning the specific subject matter.
The second part of the lesson is intended for practical exercises and interactive activities to deepen and consolidate understanding and mastery of the material.

If you only want to practice interaction in the foreign language, or if you want to concentrate on another discipline (such as reading comprehension), the lesson can of course be freely adapted to your wishes. My courses are designed to meet your specific needs.
It would be important that you tell me the content and, if applicable, your ideas about our lessons BEFORE each session.

The lessons are aimed at learners of all levels, from beginners to advanced (A1 - B2/C1).

One lesson is 60 minutes. The price of 26 euros already includes the targeted lesson preparation on my part.

Perfect! Zum Unterricht mit Leonard kann ich leider nichts sagen, weil er in dieser Zeit keine Kapazität mehr hatte! Aber er hat uns eine so nette und persönliche Rückmeldung / Absage gesendet, die mich schwer beeindruckt hat, die zeigt, wie wichtig ihm der Kontakt und seine SchülerInnen sind. Leonard is a great teacher, he makes you feel confortable, he is very patience and attentive, he is always looking for you can really learn as much as possible. He taught me German and I was very cool experience I hardly recommend him you're not going to regret to choose him he has a really good level of languages he is a professional.
